Beth Lapides is an alt comedy guru, author, yogi and creator of the groundbreaking comedy show Un-Cabaret and The Comedian's Way workshop. red dress This photo of me has been nominated as picture of the year!

It's an honor to be nominated and all that. And I have nothing to actually gain by winning except the rosy glow of winningness... But right now my picture is in third place, and the two front runners are football and marine pictures!

I would so love to win to show that comedy/yoga/laughter/happiness/mid-century modern design is mightier than the sword. Take a second to vote here.

The red dress, by the way, was made by Shareen, who has incredibly unique, reasonably priced vintage outlets - they are more than stores really gathering places, venues, downtown LA, Venice and a pop up in New York. As well she carries her own designs of which this is one.

For those of you who have seen "100% Happy 88% of the Time", how amazingly synchronistic is it that the pic now in 4th place is of hundreds of birds on the wire!
