I am the author of "Did I Wake You? Hakus for Modern Living", published in 2007 by Soft Skull. If you enjoy short-form writing, you should also check out my tweets on Twitter, although none of them are as short as my "My Other Car is a Yoga Mat" license plate frame, which is definitely the shortest thing I've ever written.
My column,"My Other Car is a Yoga Mat" is now syndicated to LAYoga and YogaChicago Magazines.
I've written about self-esteem for O Magazine, Hollywood's rules for waiting for the Los Angeles Times, facts, rules, bad people and Disney's paint for NPR, the 'Ish Factor' of being Jew-ish for jewcy.com, acting with Baryshnikov on "Sex and the City" for freshyarn.com, and have blogged about weather control, tupperware and other topics for the Huffington Post.

I've also written about being a yoga tramp for LA Weekly, how to use comedy to make you a better yoga teacher for FitYoga Magazine, numerology in movies for Premiere, coffee and the commercialization of the globe for Utne Reader, been a guest columnist for jewcy.com's daily 'Faith Hacker' column and written about other topics for other venues.
I've written many first-person essays that I have performed at Say the Word, the spoken-word spin-off show from Un-Cabaret. Performances of those pieces are available, along with the work of my brilliant fellow-travellers, at audible.com and on several CDs released by Un-Cabaret Records. More about the CDs
I'm currently working on the book that goes with my new show, "100% Happy 88% of the Time".
